New Zealand’s Ross Taylor surpasses Fleming, becomes leading run-scorer in Test

SYDNEY: Middle order batsman Ross Taylor became has become the leading run-scorer for New Zealand in Test cricket on Monday.

Taylor achieved the milestone by taking three runs after playing a shot towards mid-on against Australia in the third Test.

The 35-year-old surpassed Stephen Fleming, who played between 1994 and 2008,   in his 99th Test.

Stephen Fleming had scored 7,172 in 111 Test matches.
