RAWALPINDI: Commander of Resolute Support Mission and the US Forces in Afghanistan, General John Campbell called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at Pakistan Army’s General Headquarters (GHQ) at Rawalpindi.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), both two generals discussed security situation along Pak-Afghan border.
General Campbell acknowledged Pakistan’s sincere efforts, particularly of COAS for facilitating recent Murree peace talks.
He said that Campbell also appreciated the gains of Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
