ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday lodged a strong protest with India against unprovoked ceasefire violations by its forces along the Line of Control, martyring an elderly woman and injuring three others.

In this connection, Gaurav Ahluwalia, the Indian Deputy High Commissioner was summoned to the Foreign Office and protested against the ceasefire violations being committed by Indian forces on Oct 6 and 7.
The unprovoked ceasefire violation was committed in the Chirikot Sector.
