Indian wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni will use his break from the sport to serve in Territorial Army Battalion in occupied Kashmir Valley.
“Dhoni, 38, had skipped the upcoming tour of West Indies next month as he will serve as honourary Lieutenant Colonel in Indian army from July 31 to August 15.
Indian Army spokesperson Colonel Aman Anand has said that Dhoni will stay with the troops and perform all duties including patrolling.
