PPP to participate in anti-govt protest on July 25: Kaira

Lahore: Qamar Zaman Kaira, the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) senior leader announced on Monday that his party will participate in the protest on 25th July against government policies.

Addressing the media at the Lahore Press Club, he said that it does not look like the Prime Minister of Pakistan is visiting the US but a jail superintendent.

The PPP leader further complained that PM Imran Khan did not even forget to threaten his political rivals in the US.

Kaira went on to say, that the nation expected from the PM to fight for Pakistan’s case in the US, but he talked about local politics instead of highlighting the sacrifices Islamabad has made.

He said: “The prime minister had announced to provide container, if opposition stages sit-in but the situation is different,  the opposition is not even allowed to hold a public rally.”
