LAHORE: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been arrested by NAB from Lahore Toll Plaza here on Thursday.
The PML-N leader has been summoned today by NAB in the LNG case. However, he had decided not to appear before the court and was heading to Lahore to join PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif’s press conference scheduled for today.
PML-leader Ahsan Iqbal has confirmed the arrest of Abbasi.
Strongly condemning the arrest, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has termed the NAB action as political vendetta.
