WASHINGTON: United States President Barack Obama thanked China for its support in Iran nuclear deal. US president expressed gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jingping for providing assistance in the deal.
White House spokesperson said that the Obama and Xi talked on Monday and the same day UN Security Council unanimously endorsed the deal.
China was also the part of the group that negotiated the deal with Iran. The spokes person said that Xi likely to visit US in September.
