KARACHI: A youth was killed in Karachi’s Orangi town area in an alleged police encounter on Monday forcing the family to protest at Karachi Press Club.

According to details, a youngster named Sajid Ishaq who was reportedly taken into custody on July 2 was killed today with police claiming that the suspect was killed in a police encounter.

Sajid’s brother Shehzad has claimed that the police killed his brother in a fake encounter and only informed them after depositing Sajid’s dead body in Edhi morgue.

It must be remembered that the deceased suspect’s family also staged a protest over Sajid’s arrest outside press club on July 3 while also formally requested DG Rangers Sindh and Chief Justice of Pakistan for his release citing the fear that Sajid will be killed.
