TUNIS: Draft resolutions for the Arab League summit that is due to take place on Sunday also include the condemnation of Houthi missiles targeting Saudi Arabia.
Leaders taking part in the scheduled summit in Tunisia are agreed to release a “strong statement” rejecting the decision of US President Donald Trump to recognise Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
Arab League Summit spokesperson Mahmoud Al-Khobairi said at a press conference in Tunis that “the summit will release a strong statement rejecting this decision.”
It is likely that the question of Syria’s return to the Arab League will reportedly be left out of the Summit’s agenda.
The spokesman said that “there is no unanimous agreement for Syria’s return [to the Arab League].”
