In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani, the Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid tributes to two Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in Badgam, yesterday.

The youth were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation at Wathroora in Chadoora area of the district.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said insensitivity of the Indian authorities is the sole reason for the unabated bloodshed. He said these youth are spilling their hot blood for the great and sacred cause of Kashmir and the people of Kashmir are indebted to the martyrs for their ultimate sacrifice. “It is the collective responsibility of the people of Kashmir and the leadership to take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion,” he added.

The Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, paying tributes to the martyrs said the killing of the youth is painful. “Because of the repressive policies of the Indian government our educated youth have picked up arms. These boys are giving up their present for a better future for the coming generations,” he added.
