Two Kashmiri youth were martyred by the Indian occupying forces in a fresh act of state terrorism in the Bugdam district of Indian-occupied Kashmir IoK on Wednesday, Kashmir Media Service reported.
The Indian troops martyred the youth during a so-called ‘cordon and search operation’ at Wathroora in the Chadoora area of the district.
A two-day shutdown is being observed in IoK against the occupying administration’s attempts to change the demography of the occupied territory by abrogating Articles 35-A and 370 of the Indian constitution.
The Supreme Court of India had listed the pleas against the two articles for Wednesday and Thursday.
Call for the two-day strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
The leaders in a statement said that India would not be able to break the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom through such tactics.
