PESHAWAR: Elite Force Bannu Superintendent of Police (SP) Hairul Haseeb was killed on Saturday in Saleem Khan area of Swabi district.
Police officials said that the deceased SP offered morning prayer and was on his way to home when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him. The assailant managed to escape on a motorcycle.
SP Hairul Haseeb was a retired army officer and was posted as SP in Baunu Elite Police force. He had come to his home town to celebrate Eid.
