Gilani, Sehrai pay tributes to martyred youth

In occupied Kashmir, the chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani and senior Hurriyat leader, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai have paid glowing tributes to the youth, martyred by Indian troops in Pulwama district, today.

The troops during a cordon and search operation martyred the youth, Irfan Ahmed Rather in Littar area of the district.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, today, APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani reiterated that the youth of the occupied territory were offering their lives to free their homeland from the forcible occupation of India.
Syed Ali Geelani also expressed shock on the demise of senior Jamaat-e-Islami leader and a well known social activist and his long time associate Abdul Raheem Langoo. He prayed for the peace of the departed soul and courage to the family to bear this tragic loss.

Terming Kashmir as a bone of contention between the two nuclear powers of the sub-continent, Hurriyat chairman regretted that the stubborn attitude of India regarding this globally accepted political dispute and dealing with it only militarily has created death and destruction in the whole territory, threatening peace in the region.
He said that with the resolution of this dispute a new era of peace, stability and development will prevail not only in Kashmir but in the whole South Asian region.

Paying tributes to the martyred youth, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai said that the unprecedented sacrifices offered by the Kashmiri people were too great to go unrewarded. He also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of veteran Jamaat-e-Islami member Abdul Raheem Langoo.
