An Indian soldier of Central Reserve Police Force committed suicide in Srinagar in occupied Kashmir (IoK), Radio Pakistan reported.

He shot himself dead after injuring two of his colleagues inside a camp at Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar.

This incident has raised the number of such deaths amongst Indian troops and police personnel in occupied Kashmir to 418 from January 2007 till date.

On January 2, the Indian government barred traders belonging to occupied Kashmir from green colour attires, adding that green symbolises support for the Pakistani flag.

On the occasion, the government stated that legal action shall be taken against those who sell green coloured clothes.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Masood Khan remarked that the occupation forces were “threatened by green colour”. He added that if an innocent Kashmiri is martyred, the Pakistani flag is hoisted and the departed is buried in a deep green colour flag.
