Imran Khan calls upon nation to protect freedom, democracy

Prime Minister Imran Khan is currently chairing a meeting of the economic advisory council at his Bani Gala residence.

Federal ministers, members of the economic advisory council and senior officials are attending the meeting during which the country’s current economic situation and the government’s 100-day plan is being discussed.

“Reports on sub-groups formed by the advisory council are being presented and senior officials are putting forth recommendations on employment opportunities, social safety protection and trade cooperation,” sources said.

“Recommendations will also be presented on macro-financial plan,” sources added.

Further, sources said that the prime minister will be briefed on the talks held between Pakistan and the IMF delegation.

“Officials will also brief the attendees on the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Programme,” sources said.
