ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday registered a strong protest over the Indian drone which recently entered Pakistani territory, which the country’s armed forces shot down.

Foreign secretary Aizaz Chaudhry called Indian High Commissioner T C Raghavan in foreign office and registered the protest.

Chaudhry remarked that India should follow diplomatic priniciples in relations with its neighbouring country adding that Pakistan wants peaceful co-relations with India.

He further maintained that India should also follow the bilateral agreements between the two countries.

It must be remembered that Pakistan on Wednesday claimed it shot down an Indian spy drone in the disputed region of Kashmir.

On the other hand, India’s army and air force have denied that any of their drones had been shot down or crashed.
