Reham Khan’s varsity degree is fake: British newspaper

LONDON: British newspaper claimed that wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, Reham Khan’s degree is fake.

According to the famous newspaper, North Lindsey college has never offered Broadcast Journalism course which Reham claimed that she was a postgraduate.

The 42 year-old on her personal website states that she won her post as a reporter on the BBC regional show South Today after starting a postgraduate course ‘in Broadcast Journalism at North Lindsay College’, in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.

“We do not have anyone by those names or date of birth having attended this college,’ says a spokesman. ‘We have never done a degree in broadcast journalism,” the college said.

Reham Khan’s Wikipedia profile says she  has a Bachelor Degree in Education and started a Postgraduate in Journalism but due to a change in her personal circumstances she switched to a Postgraduate in Broadcast Journalism at North Lindsey College, United Kingdom, the college now denies offering any course in Broadcast Journalism.

After coming to Pakistan, she worked in various Television channels before marrying the famous cricketer cum politician Imran Khan but did not declare it.

On 6 January 2015, Imran Khan confirmed his marriage to Reham, ending months of speculation.
