In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth, Mudassir Ahmad Wani of Barzulla area of Srinagar, demanding return of his mortal remains to his family.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai addressing a condolence meeting at Mudassir’s residence in Barzulla said, “The policy of denying mortal remains of the youth to their kith and kin is a brazen violation of religious and human rights.”

He expressed deep condolences with Mudassir’s father, Ghulam Muhammad Butt, and other members of the bereaved family. He said, “The role of young generation and their precious sacrifices for the sacred cause will not go in a vain.”

The TeH Chairman condemned the repressive policy of the occupation forces to prevent the burial of the martyrs according to the religious rituals and to deny the families of the martyred youth the last glimpses of their loved ones.

Reiterating the pledge to take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion, he said, “It is the best way to pay tributes to the martyrs, if we try our best to fulfill our commitments to take this sacred movement to its logical end.”
