Police raid house of Qazi Yasir in IOK

In Indian occupied Kashmir, Indian police raided the house of Ummat-e-Islami Chief Qazi Yasir in South Kashmir’s Islamabad district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a police party raided the house late night on Monday to arrest Qazi Yasir from his house, who is scheduled to lead a pro-freedom rally, Tuesday.

The police was unable to arrest him. He would lead a pro-freedom rally from Islamabad’s Jamia Masjid after Zuhr prayers.

The Ummat-e-Islami has also called for a complete shutdown to commemorate the anniversary of martyred freedom leader and Islamic scholar, Qazi Nisar Ahmed, Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) in a statement paid rich tributes to Islamic Scholar and Ummat-E-Islami Chief, Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmad on his 24th martyrdom anniversary, Tuesday.
