Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi are eyeing to rope in WWE’s biggest super star John Cena, as the owner hints at Cena’s appearance for the franchise.

The owner of PSL Champions Javed Afridi, who is known for promoting cricket in rural areas of the counties, has hinted at bringing the 16-time WWE champion for PSL3.

The 40-year-old, who is on the break from WWE to pursue his acting career, paid a visit to Sydney in Australia. During his visit he played cricket with Big Bash League (BBL) side Sydney Thunders stars Shane Watson and Chris Green.

Following Cena’s visit to Sydney, Javed Afridi contacted with Cena and hoped that the former WWE champ would play cricket for peace for Zalmi.
