KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Wednesday appointed MPA and former senator Saeed Ghani as president of its Karachi chapter while MPA Javed Nagori as a general secretary.
After his appointment, Saeed Ghani, an MPA from Karachi’s PS-114, took to the Twitter and thanked PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Nisar Khuhro and Faryal Talpur for nominating him as PPP Karachi president.
He congratulated MPA Javed Nagori for his nomination as general secretary.
Ghani also said he would try his best to serve Karachi.

Earlier in July this year, Saeed Ghani had won the by-election on a provincial assembly seat, PS-114, in Karachi’s Mehmoodabad area.
