Babar Azam shines in home turf as Pakistan set a huge 198 runs target against International Cricket Council’s (ICC) World XI.

The World XI won the toss at the Gaddafi and invited Pakistan to bat. The home side didn’t get the ideal start as it lost Fakhar Zaman with just eight runs on the board.

However, Babar Azam and Ahmed Shehzad made a vital century stand to help the side reaching respectable total of 197 runs on loss of 5 wickets.

Azam made 86 while Shehzad contributed with 39. Experienced all-rounder Shoaib Malik played a great cameo of 38 runs just facing 20 deliveries.

Thisara Perera was pick of the bowlers, as he picked two wickets while, Ben Cuttings, Morne Morkal and Imran Tahir bagged one wicket each.

Now Faf du Plessis led World XI need 198 runs in 20 overs.
