Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday said that Scotland Yard has completed interrogation with accused Moazzam Ali and it has been decided to give them reach to the second accused person while decision regarding foreign team’s interrogation would be taken after Eid.
Chaudhry Nisar while addressing press conference in Islamabad expressed satisfaction over the pace and standard of the investigation underway in Imran Farooq murder case. He confirmed that SLY team is currently present in Pakistan.
He added that Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of Pakistan is also working side-by-side with British team to hold joint interrogation with the accused persons of the case. He said that judicial system of both countries is different, hence, UK authorities would take next step after reviewing probe report of its team interrogation team over their return.
