Primer League giant Manchester United are all set to resign former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who suffered a horror knee injury earlier this year.

The Swedish legend has been offered to his former club AC Milan for a staggering €1million a game, according to a report in Italy.

La Repubblica report that the 35-year-old former Manchester United forward could be in line for a return with the Rossoneri, as long as they are prepared to meet his agent’s demands.

He had won the Serie A title in 2011, and scored 42 goals in two seasons of the league.

Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has been trying to find a new home for the striker, who scored 28 goals and claimed 10 assists in 46 appearances last season.

United boss Jose Mourinho claimed this week that Ibrahimovic’s return to United was very much a possibility, once he is fit.

“Maybe he’ll stay with us,” Mourinho told Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset. “He has no contract but he is closer to Manchester.”
