Federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan ordered NADRA officials to maintain data of National Counter Terrorism and International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs).
Chaudhry Nisar paid visit to National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday (today).
He issued ordered to compile overall records of National Counter-Terrorism institution and INGOs in Pakistan. NADRA was also directed to make effective and rapid steps to ease reach of computerised national identity cards to the citizens besides launching online application system. He said that overseas Pakistanis could also be benefitted by the online application system.
He advised NADRA employees to welcome nationals with politeness and respectful behaviour, as well as to effort for citizens to get rid of standing in long lines in the NADRA officers.
