South African pacer snatches Saqlain’s record

South African pacer Kagiso Rabada has over taken Pakistani legend Saqlain Mushtaq’s record as he became the youngest ever to achieve top spot in the latest ICC player rankings for ODI bowlers.

Rabada, top-ranked in the latest rankings after grabbing seven wickets in South Africa series against England, which the Proteas lost, Rabada’s star claiming figures of 4-39 in the final match at Lord’s on Monday.

The fast bowler, jumped up four places to replace fellow compatriot Imran Tahir from the top slot.

Meanwhile, South African skipper A.B. de Villiers top-ranked among batsmen.
