SEOUL: As Samsung enjoying the success of Samsung Galaxy Note 4, now LG is eyeing to launch Samsung’s phbalet killer the LG G Pro 3.

Samsung has been enjoying the major share of the Phablet market with Galaxy Note series, now LG has step up to take on South Korean Technological giant with LG G Pro 3.

According to a report that was seen by Mobipicker, the LG G Pro 3 is set to launch with a 6-inch screen that packs a 1440 x 2560 resolution.

It will also come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage – which can be expanded via microSD cards.

The LG G Pro 3 will also apparently have a 20.7MP rear camera with an 8MP front-facing camera as well. What makes these rumours slightly more believable is that the specs were separately confirmed by another source, @Leaksfly, a well known Weibo account for smartphone leaks.

The tipster @Leaksfly also claimed that the device will have a finger print scanner and another biometric authentication feature which will allow user to unlock the device by scanning the eye bowl or more like eye bowl scanner.

The upcoming phablet is also due to ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop, and will apparently launch later this year for $790 (around £508, AU$1,054).
