PALLEKELE: Younis Khan and Shan Masood shined as Pakistan in commanding position to win the 3rd Test match played at Pallekele International Stadium.
Pakistan were down and out in the game as they lose two crucial wickets on 13 chasing huge 377 runs target against the host.
Younis Khan and Shan Masood put on a record third wicket partnership and bring Pakistan back in the game.
They have scored 217 runs so far and both also scored tons as well. Younis made 101 while Shan Masood scored 114 runs at stumps. Pakistan so far scored 230 runs on loss of two wickets.
Earlier, Pakistan restricted Sri Lanka to 313 runs. Angelo Mathews scored a brilliant century as he made 122 runs while Dinesh Chandimal made 67 runs.
Imrna Khan picked up three wickets for the visitors.
