ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Javed Latif on Thursday tendered an unconditional apology to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) Murad Saeed over his offensive remarks outside parliament lobby.
He tendered the apology at the National Assembly Jirga headed by Shah Jee Gul Afridi which amicably resolved the issue. Mian Javed Latif apologized and withdrew his words he uttered about the family of Murad Saeed.
Javed Latif said that he is embarrassed over his statements directed towards Murad Saeed and his family members. Murad Saeed thanked the Jirga for his intervention and expressed satisfaction on the decision. It may be recalled that Murad Saeed had punched Javed Latif in his face after the latter passed indecent remarks against his family and party leader Imran Khan. After the incident, Imran Khan had called for a social boycott of the PML-N MNA. INP
