LAHORE: At least seven people were injured when youth clashed during a cricket match on Sunday.
Police said that while playing cricket match in Sundar area of the provincial capital Lahore, the youth argued with each other.
The verbal clash turned violent after which both teams and their supporters attacked each other with baton, pelted bricks at each other and also opened fire.
Seven youngsters were injured in the clash who were shifted to hospital in Manga Mandi from where they were referred to Jinnah Hospital Lahore. Two among the injured with bullet wounds were stated to be in critical condition.
The police after registering a case into the incident have started the investigation. INP
