LAHORE: The nephew of Pakistan Tehreeke-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and his friend have been arrested in Lahore on Wednesday after a traffic warden lodged a case accusing them of torturing him.
According to police, the accused Azeem and his friend Abdullah were stopped by a traffic warden for violating traffic rules on Mall road.
Police said the two youngsters declined to show the vehicle’s registration papers and got into a scuffle with the warden, who claimed that they beat him up.
Police registered a case on the complaint of the warden, after which the accused were taken into custody.
