ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan has said that candidates can file appeals against rejection of their nomination papers till tomorrow.
The ECP said that 4,190 candidates had submitted their nomination papers against 79 union councils in the first-ever local government elections in Islamabad.
The ECP would make decision over the appeals on July 3rd and 4th. 13 candidates from each union council would participate in the LB pools directly. ECP said that more than 4 million ballot papers would be published for the elections. While LB polls would be held on July 25th in Islamabad.
