PESHAWAR: Peshawar district administration on Tuesday banned the export of poultry and cattle to Afghanistan to control meat prices in the holy month of Ramazan.
Peshawar Deputy Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud said in a handout that the ban had been imposed for a month under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The decision was made to Keep the meet prices under control in the city.
