FAISALABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MNA Abid Sher Ali has lashed out at the players involved in fixing matches.
“They should be banned from playing for the rest for their lives,” he said while talking to the media after opening a local cricket tournament in Faisalabad on Sunday. “If a decision is not taken against match fixers then cricket will suffer.” Abid Sher Ali was referring to the cricket players involved in fixing matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). On the occasion, he also spoke of Lal Haveli that is partly owned by Sheikh Rasheed, chief of Awami Muslim League. “Lal Haveli belongs to locals and we will help poor people get shelter there.” While criticising Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, he said Shah Mehmood Qureshi cons his own people.
