KARACHI: The honest and corruption free leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) can steer out the country from the cluster of prevailing issues including load-shedding, water shortage and unemployment.
This was stated by JI Pakistan Chief Senator Siraj-ul-Haq while addressing the ‘Nazimeen’ of the party at Idara-e-Noor Haq.
Addressing the party workers, Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that the elimination of corruption was imperative to make the country stronger and progressive; adding that the people of the country want change through balloting.
He further appealed the people to stand with JI leadership in upcoming local bodies’ polls in order to change the fortune of Karachi, as the JI leadership will bring back its past glory.
Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that the Jamaat-e-Islami is a voice of deprived and downtrodden people and will provide free education, health services and other services after coming into power.
On the occasion, Siraj-ul-Haq urged the party workers to continue their services towards the ailing humanity.
Dr Mairaj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, Ameer JI Sindh said that the present and past rulers of the country were responsible for public issues adding that the corruption would not be eliminated without fear of Almighty Allah.
He further urged the party workers to tolerate the criticism and continue their struggle for imposition of Islamic teachings in society.
JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the Jamaat-e-Islami has a large number of ideological workers which is its actual strength adding that the struggle of party is linked with the prosperous and Islamic Pakistan.
“The top most priority of party leadership is to win local bodies’ polls and ensure provision of relief to the masses”, he added.
