ISLAMABAD: Leaders of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have suggested that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan should convert his political party into a comedy company.
Talking to media outside the Supreme Court, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that those asking questions do not have mental capacity that they could understand.
He said that those leveling allegations do not even understand the allegations they are leveling.
Minister for Railways Saad Rafiq said that time and again they said that the case is being on political basis.
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the PTI’s allegation that Maryam Nawaz is dependant of the Prime Minister has been disproved by Maryam’s lawyer in the Supreme Court.
She said earlier counsel of the Prime Minister proved that Nawaz Sharif has nothing to do with Panama Papers and he has no association with any business or property as is being alleged by Imran Khan.
“PTI is doing only politics on Panama Papers and could not prove any allegation in the apex court,” she added.
PML-N leader Danyal Aziz said that Imran Khan should look into the report that gifts were exchanged among family members of Jahangir Tareen.
Meanwhile, Maiza Hameed said that the PTI is afraid of Maryam Nawaz, who is an emerging leader.
She said: “Imran Khan has failed to provide money trail of the party funds before the Election Commission of Pakistan.”
