OKARA: At least two people including an attacker were killed and three others injured in firing in tehsil Katcheri here on Tuesday.
Police said that armed men of rival group opened indiscriminate fire at opponents who had come to appear in court in Tehsil Katcheri Depalpur.
One person was killed in the firing and three others including two women sustained injuries. In retaliatory firing of police one attacker was also killed while others managed to flee.
The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police after registering a case into the incident have started an investigation.
