MULTAN: Police arrested 68 criminals and recovered drugs and illegal weapons from their possession here on Sunday.
According to police, nine drug peddlers and nine illegal weapon holders were arrested with 98 litre liquor, 150g heroin, three revolvers, nine pistols, two knives and 37 rounds.
Two distilleries were also unearthed while police apprehended 17 proclaimed offenders wanted in different cases.
Similarly, 17 gamblers were arrested with stake money Rs 3,540 while six kite sellers were arrested with kites and string.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused.
