FAISALABAD: The police have arrested 674 criminals from different parts of the district during April 2016.
Police spokesman Aamir Waheed told here on Sunday that among the criminals arrested include 184 drug peddlers, 173 target offenders, 163 proclaimed offenders, 131 illicit weapon holders and 23 court absconders.
The police recovered 5 Kalashnikoves, 100 pistols, 19 guns, 9 rifles, 2 revolvers, a number of bullets/cartridges, 34.137 kilograms (kg) Chars, 2.015 kg Opium, 207 grams Heroin and 2636 liters Liquor from their possession besides unearthing 6 distilleries during same period, he added.
