WAH CANTT: Six shopkeepers were arrested for overcharging, illegal profiteering during raids at various markets and bazzars in twin cities of Taxila and Wah on Sunday.
Led by Assistant Commissioner (AC) Shahid Imran, alongside special price Magistrates, surprise checks were carried out at railway road bazaar Taxila.
As many as six shopkeepers identified as Haseeb Ahmed, Sammi Ullah, Perviaz Ellahi, Ehsan Ullah, Saqib and salman were arrested.
Cases have been registered against the accused under Price Act and they were sent behind the bars.
