All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a condolence reference and paid tributes to the Kashmiri leaders, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru, on their martyrdom anniversaries.

The AJK Hurriyat leaders said that the martyrdoms were an inseparable part of the ongoing liberation movement and the Kashmiri people would protect the supreme sacrifices of their martyrs and take their mission to its logical end.

They termed the executions of Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru as judicial murders and said that India did not fulfill legal requirements while executing them.

They said with all that brutality and cruelty India could not kill the freedom sentiments of the people of Kashmir but had strengthened the resolve and commitment of the Kashmiris towards the freedom struggle of Kashmir.

It was also decided in the meeting that a seminar will be held on February 12 to pay tributes to the martyred leaders, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru.
