KARACHI: As many as five terrorists were killed in Rangers and police joint operation in Manghupir area of Karachi.
According to reports, the militants opened fire on the forces leaving two personnel of law enforcement agencies injured.
The law enforcement agencies returned the fire as a result five terrorists of a banned outfit were killed.
Police said that arms and explosives were also recovered from the dead militants. The bodies of the dead terrorists were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
On the other hand, some unidentified persons opened fire in Baldia Ittehad area and killed a man and wounded another. The identity of the victims is not yet known.
