ISTANBUL: Fourty-four people have died after taking poisonous liquor in Turkey during the one week.
According to Turkish media, 44 people died after consuming poisonous liquor in eight provinces while 30 hospitalized during the last one week.
The first incident of 18 deaths was reported on October 9 in Izmir province.
The police had arrested 58 people over manufacturing and selling poisonous liquor.
