LAHORE: Most bodies and injured of the Gulshan Iqbal Park blast were shifted to Jinnah hospital. Other bodies and injured were also shifted to Services, Mayo and Farooq hospitals.
As per details provided by the managements of different hospitals, 40 bodies and 100 injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital while seven bodies were shifted to Services Hospital besides 30 injured. Five bodies each shifted to Mayo and Shaikh Zayed Hospitals and 55 injured were shifted to both hospitals.
Two bodies and 35 injured were also shifted to Farooq hospital while about 34 injured were also rushed to Lahore General Hospital.
Director Security of the Jinnah Hospital Dr.Iftkhar talking to APP said that security of the hospital had been tightened further to avoid any untoward incident.
The Health department of Punjab has announced an emergency in all city hospitals.
All possible measures, including provision of medicines and blood, are being provided to the injured.
