MULTAN: The police in its drive against anti-social elements have arrested 37 outlaws and recovered drugs and illegal weapons from them here on Thursday.
According to official sources, police arrested 13 drug peddlers and six illegal weapon holders in separate raids and recovered 102 liter liquor, 5770 grams Hashish, 110 gramme heroin, four pistols, one riffle, one revolver and bullets from their possession.
Police also arrested two drivers for violating traffic rules, one for gas refilling illegally, eight proclaimed offenders, five gamblers with stake money Rs 4150 and two other outlaws for violating tenant act.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused.
