MULTAN: Police on Saturday arrested 28 criminals including 12 proclaimed offenders (POs) and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from them.
According to police, those arrested included 10 drug-peddlers and four illegal weapon-holders. Police recovered from them 44-litre liquor, 432-gram hashish, four pistols and bullets from their possession.
Police apprehended 12 proclaimed offenders, wanted in different cases of dacoity, robbery, theft and other crimes.
Similarly, one outlaw was held for violating traffic rules and another for decanting gas illegally.
Separate cases have been registered by the police.
