221 missing pilgrims traced: Pakistan ambassador

Pakistani ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Manzoor-ul-Haq, said that 221 out of 300 pilgrims were traced so far by the authorities while death toll of martyred pilgrims reached to 40.

Manzoor-ul-Haq in his recent statement said that around 300 pilgrims went missing after Mina horror while continuous efforts bear fruit as 221 were traced while search is underway to find out nearly 63 nationals. He confirmed deaths of 40 Pakistanis in the Mina stampede.

On the other hand, seven martyred Pakistani pilgrims were buried in Al-Shuhada cemetery in Al-Maisam. The martyrs include Muhammad Ismail belonging to Karachi, Aziz Mai of Vihari and Shakira Bibi from Qila Abdullah.
