PESHAWAR: Secretary Ministry of Water and Power, Mr. Mohammad Younus Dagha has suspended 22 officers of Peshawar Electric Supply Corporation over poor performance.
According to details, seven XENs and 15 SDOs of PESCO on poor performance were suspended as Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) losses in their respective areas have increased as compared to corresponding period last year.
The suspension orders have been made after monthly performance review of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO).
The suspended official of PESOC includes XEN Mansehra Rural, XEN Charsadda, XEN city, XEN City Rural, XEN Mardan 1, XEN Bunnu1 and XEN Bunnu 2.
15 SDOs were suspended whose AT&C losses increased more than 4.5% as compared with previous year.
The Secretary Water and Power further directed PESCO to complete meter reading through Mobile in 98 Sub Divisions up to August 2015.
During the meeting the Secretary Water and Power also showed concern on no no progress regarding incentive package of Recovery of outstanding amounts by PESCO.
Similarly concern issue shown on no progress regarding line losses calculations by third party in PESCO.
