NEW DELHI: 21 missing people were feared dead in mudslide triggered by torrential monsoon rains in Goupi, Manipur state, India.
They were believed buried in the mudslide on Saturday. Police is searching for the missing people .
The mudslide occurred in Joumol in Manipur state close to India’s border with Myanmar. Police said that the affected area cut off by road because of heavy rains over the past three days. Sources said that the rescue teams would use helicopters to land in the area on Sunday after day-break.
