'Google Wallet' launched in Pakistan for digital payments

Google has introduced “Google Wallet” in Pakistan to facilitate digital payments.

Farhan Qureshi, Country Director, Google Pakistan, said that Google Vault will allow users to store boarding passes, loyalty cards, access to important items, and other cards along with secure, easy and useful digital payments.

Users with Visa and MasterCard can add their bank cards to Google Vault. This facility will prove to be an important milestone in the promotion of digital banking and electronic payments.

“The launch of Google Wallet is part of our efforts to promote digital payments in Pakistan. This will allow customers to make safer and faster payments.

Farhan Qureshi said that the digital payments sector in Pakistan is growing rapidly and as more people are adopting digital transactions, Google Wallet provides a safe, convenient and effective way through which customers can make payments, make purchases and make travel easier.
